If you have a manuscript you'd like considered for one of our imprints, please email the following to submissions@windycitypublishers.com.

FICTION

Please send a query letter and the first chapter of your manuscript.

Query letter:

• Send within the body of the email.
• Include contact information, genre, sub-genre (if desired), and a brief synopsis of the manuscript, a short author bio, and the number of words in the total body of work.

Manuscript:

• Send as an attachment (Microsoft Word or PDF)
• Use 12-point Time New Roman font
• Use one-inch margins on all sides
• Have pages numbered and the name of the manuscript, as well as the author's name, on each page.

We will send you a confirmation email within 7-10 working days, acknowledging that we have received your materials.

NONFICTION

Please send a manuscript outline and a sample chapter.

Publication Standards

Windy City Publishers is committed to a level of quality that will contribute to the overall probability of success for the books that we do choose to publish. This does not mean that if your book is not chosen for publication that you can't be successful. It just isn't the right title for us and we encourage you to keep trying.
